Pathological Description: Anterior and lateral surface-There is striated subperiosteal new compact bone on the whole shaft with a small area of subperiosteal new woven bone on the distal 1/3. Medial surface- There is subperiosteal compact bone on the whole of this surface of the shaft. There are irregular spicules of compact bone at muscle and ligamentous attachments on the proximal 1/3 of the shaft on the posterior and lateral surfaces.
