The Biological Anthropology Research Centre (BARC) teaches students at all levels within Archaeological Sciences. In keeping with much of the teaching at Archaeological Sciences, University of Bradford, we focus on a hands-on approach, and include as many laboratories within modules/courses as possible. Our large collection of human skeletal remains is used extensively in the teaching of final-year undergraduates, and masters students. We also have an extensive collection of cast material which is used for teaching anatomy, basic skeletal morphology, primatology and hominid evolution.
